I am currently exploring building a web-based animation app, leverage recent advancements in AI to simplify the creation of 3D animated content. “Ordinary Animator” is my current working name for the project.
This is a passion project, being worked on in my spare time, so progress may be slow. However I have already tested most of the underlying technologies with success, so the work now is to glue them all together into a single unified solution.
My goal is to allow simple 3D animations to be created via a desktop web browser and a webcam and then exported as a video file. Upload the video to social media (YouTube, TikTok, etc), add as an introduction to a corporate video to add a bit of life, or just share with a friend just for fun as a special greeting. I plan to use the tool myself for creating my own YouTube series (which is now on hold until I complete the tool).
